The Harem: The Hidden Treasure

The most inspiring for me at the theme Istanbul was the Harem, a mystical and sacred place, full of luxury and closed from undesirables. As presentation of the idea of Harem I used the famous eastern symbol of pomegranate: multitude of bordeaux grains in a hard rind. For my necklace I used copper frame repeated the shape of pomegranate (forged to give it natural look) and various crystals in transparent resin as section revealing secret magnificence and constant constraint.
